I was planning to recommend the Mr. Coffee 12-cup coffee maker that I own until I saw that nearly every one of the 168 reviews on amazon said it leaked! For what it's worth, I've had mine for about a year and it hasn't started leaking yet. It makes good, quality coffee and has timers that let you know when the coffee is finished brewing and when the warmer plate is going off. If I reviewed it on amazon today, I'd have to give it 5 stars (but I probably won't review it until it starts leaking :) ).
