Well it's not a website, but I can definitely vouchon Buffettology, a book by Mary Buffett (Warren Buffett's daughter in law) and David Clark. The book is a great overview of the basics of stock investing, based on the success of the great investor Warren Buffett. I also learned a lot about business in general just by reading the book. And i agree with you about motley fool. I thought it used to be a pretty good resource for new comers, but it feels like it has gone downhill over the years.
